WOW! I don’t know what I did without this light before!! I think it should be told to EVERYONE who starts ANY craft/sewing project that they HAVE to get one of these lights! It’s like I could see for the first time in my life!! I use it all the time. OMG!! I can’t believe how much I was straining my eyes before this wonderful light came along!!! I don’t wince, squint or catch myself all hunched up close to the sewing machine anymore BECAUSE I CAN SEE WHAT I’M DOING SO MUCH BETTER NOW! Now, you must be thinking, wow, was I in a dark room or something? NO, I was even in what I thought was a well lit room IN DAYLIGHT, and when I added this light over my work area…TA-DA!!! Amazing, simply amazing I say. If you have a dim area of any kind that you work in, you have GOT TO GET YOURSELF THIS LIGHT!!!

I bought 3 of these lamps to replace the lamps that were taking up too much room on the night stand. They fit well beside the bed. Also I bought one for the living room where I do fine stitching. Sunlight Floor Lamp 5 Feet – Trademark Home Collection
They are good looking in an unobtrusive way, the the neck bends good for perfect positioning.
The down-side is that they only have one light strength. The fourth one I already owned has two light strengths. That’s the one I use most often. The light is good for reading the paper but for the fine work I do I prefer the choice of light switches.
I would have searched further but didn’t find a way to read about the bulb itself.

I just wanted a second light for my son’s room and I got this because I was attracted by the word “sunlight”. As advertised, it is easy to put together. But when I turned it on, the contrast with my other lamp was significant. I never realized how yellow my other room lamps were until this one was turned on next to them. On the positive side, you can see true color with the white light so it would be good for craft work of any kind, plus my son likes it. On the negative side, the bulb is unique and I suspect may be difficult to find and it isn’t a very attractive unit.

my wife needs the sunlight. living inn the NW, there isn’t much during winter time. this lamp has helped her through the cloudy and rainy days. this lamp really helps.
