we ordered these chairs and were told that they HAD SHIPPED to us (made us happy)–but then they didn’t arrive and finally we reached the vendor (we were unhappy) who said he couldn’t GET the chairs (!?!?!?) and he would refund our charge. he did refund at that time. we do not know if this new vendor wasn’t yet really on top of everything–or if we were missled. he seemed quite nice when we spoke–i liked him!

We took delivery of the chairs and folding table last evening and had them assembled in 15 mins. The quality of the wood is beautiful. We bought teak oil to keep it looking that way. These are not deep lounging chairs, as others have noted, but they are not meant to be. Excellent for reading the newspaper with morning coffee or sitting with a drink in the evening.

I recently ordered these chairs about a month ago and I am very please with them. My order was shipped and delivered quickly without any problems. When I received my chairs they were very easy to put together. I really like the look and design of the chairs. These chairs are good and study too! The cushions also make the chairs look fashionable but I don’t like to leave the cushions outside because of the light color of the cushions. I will probably get some back-up cushions for the chairs just to have something to alternate with so the light cushions can stay cleaner longer. Oh, how I wish the matching bench were not out-of-stock…ugh! I believe this set would make a perfect conversation set. Right now, I have these two chairs on my front porch and they look great.

I bought the whole set (2 chairs table and love seat) I love the look of it. It was the best price I could find for anything like this. Over all I’m happy with it, but there was some issues (You get what you pay for) Every piece had at least one issue with the hardware or milling. I ended up having to drill out holes because they were not deep enough, use my own screws because the female holes were not threaded to accept the bolts it came with etc. Nothing major if your handy, but still frustrating. I also found the assembly very awkward. I would suggest using a screw gun for the screws that secure the seat back to bottom, there are no pre drilled holes in the bottom and doing it by hand is useless.
Once assembled they are very sturdy and the quality seems good. I have had it outside with the cushions for about a month and they seem to be pretty resistant to staining. They are also removable which is great.
I get compliments on the set from everyone who sees it, and they are all shocked when I tell them how much I paid for it.

I agree with what most of the other reviews had to say about these chairs. They are not deep enough to sink back into, and too low for most dining tables, but are still great for just sitting in. I got them for the patio, but they haven’t gotten past my living room where my husband likes to sit on one to watch TV. (He likes to sit upright rather than slouching on a sofa.) I think they would look great on my front porch too. My one concern is that the wood seems a bit soft, but all in all, they’re a great buy.
I found them to be easy to assemble once I figured out the various fasteners. Actually, I found Ronald Westman’s review to be very helpful as far as how to assemble the chairs. The instructions that came with the chairs were not as helpful to me.
