The hanging shelf is great. It looks wide, which it is, but it doesn’t take up a lot of space in the closet. And the pockets are very deep. So you can fit 2 or 3 pairs of flats in each slot. One pair of pumps in each slot. I can definitely see it being great for bags as well, but I have too many shoes, so there aren’t any extra slots for the bags. : )

I spent a lot of time looking for a shoe organizer, and believe that this one is the most spacious one. It is a good choice for those who want to have their shoes handy, but also neat.
I took one star because it is a bit small for my husband’s sport shoes(size12). It actually is a bit tricky when you wanna stick in that large size shoes.

I was really disappointed with this. Like others, it is cream with black trim. I specifically ordered the darker one because the cream would have shown lots of wear from dirt, etc.
It had a strong odor – recommend letting it air out for several days. It was almost overpowering when opening the package.
However, I thought I would give it a try nonetheless. I didn’t find it was substantial enough for my shoes. For the record, I wear primarily 3-4 inch heels and a good portion of them are platforms, so they are a bit heavier. I cannot imagine it would be good for men’s shoes either – since they are larger and heavier.
The velcro was sturdy. My closet is constructed of the coated metal layout – had concerns about the velcro not fitting/working around a non-round bar but it attached perfectly fine.
It didn’t work for my needs, but perhaps my feedback will help you determine if it will work for you.

I was a little disappointed because I thought it would be black with cream trim, but it isn’t. The whole thing is cream with black trim. Other than that, it serves it’s purpose and I am satisfied with my purchase.
